CÁRNE Ristorante

CÁRNE opened in Menteng in 2025 in a converted house on Jalan HOS Cokroaminoto, with a garden lounge and private dining rooms themed on Venice, Florence and Rome. The name means meat in Italian, Spanish and Romanian, and the head chef and main investor share Romanian heritage. It was named Best Italian Restaurant in the 2025 Exquisite Awards.

The menu is Italian with a spotlight on beef aged on the premises. The bistecca alla Fiorentina, a thick T-bone carved for sharing, is the centrepiece, and other dry-aged prime steaks rotate through the menu. Italian starters and pasta fill out a meal, and the wine list is long enough to justify the late closing.

Suits celebrations and group dinners in the private rooms, and a slower lunch in the garden. Open daily from 11am to midnight, until 1am on Fridays and Saturdays; book by WhatsApp or through the website.
