Wilde Cut

Wilde Cut, styled as a grill and wine room, is the steakhouse inside the Mövenpick Hotel on Jalan Pecenongan, near Juanda station and the old Pasar Baru area. It is one of the few dedicated steak rooms north of Monas, with a calm hotel dining room, a glassed-in wine cellar and red leather booths for couples.

The menu covers steaks from a range of cuts and origins cooked simply, so the beef carries the plate, with European-style sauces and sides, plus fish and chicken for anyone not eating beef. The tomahawk with chimichurri is the sharing cut. Two-course set lunches and dinners at Rp170,000++ make it one of the better-value hotel steak meals in the city, and a Just the Two of Us steak set starts at Rp650,000++.

Suits hotel guests, Central Jakarta office workers and couples after wine with dinner. Open daily from noon to 10pm.
