Fat Cow has run for 15 years on the ground floor of Camden Medical Centre, at the Tanglin end of Orchard Road, and belongs to the Commonwealth Concepts group alongside Bedrock. There is a counter where diners can watch the chefs at the grill, as well as regular tables.
The focus is Japanese wagyu, grilled sumibiyaki-style over charcoal or cooked as sukiyaki and shabu-shabu. The August 2026 menu prices 120g of A5 Shiretoko wagyu at S$108, Akune Gold from Kagoshima at S$125, Ohmi at S$130 and A4 Kobe at S$208, with an Ohmi and Kobe or Matsusaka pairing for those comparing breeds. The Fat Cow premium donburi, sliced wagyu over rice with foie gras and onsen egg, starts at S$98, and the Jeju black pork collar is the non-beef pick.
Best for a quiet date or a wagyu tasting. Set lunches are the gentler introduction, while the seasonal Shiki omakase starts at S$88 and the wagyu omakase at S$178. Open daily for lunch and dinner.
