Henry is Rosewood Hong Kong's take on the American hotel grill, set on the fifth floor of Victoria Dockside. Wood-fired ovens and a charcoal grill feed an intimate, lively dining room with a busy bar pouring smoky cocktails such as the Cowboy Old Fashioned. It is a regular in SCMP's 100 Top Tables.
The menu leans on Australian wagyu: a 300g Westholme M7 rib-eye (HK$868), Blackmore M9+ striploin and a 600g Stone Axe Delmonico rib-eye. Bone-in striploin is dry-aged 30 days or more and bone-in rib-eye 45 days or more, with Snake River Farms wagyu sold by the 100g. Steaks can be finished with a whisky flambé at the table. Sides include creamed spinach, smoked mash and steak fries.
The lively room suits groups and long dinners more than quiet business meals. Weekend lunch offers a set menu, and there is a private room. Bookings open two months ahead on the first of each month.
