The Steak House opened with the original InterContinental Hong Kong and returned when the building reopened as the Regent in 2023. The charcoal grill, among the first of its kind in Hong Kong, still anchors the room, and floor-to-ceiling windows look straight across Victoria Harbour. It sits in the current Michelin Guide and placed 80th in the World's 101 Best Steak Restaurants 2025.
Head chef Amine Errkhis dry-ages beef in-house. USDA Super Prime runs from a 14oz New York strip (HK$900) to a 16oz rib-eye (HK$1,080), alongside Kagoshima A5 sirloin, Hanwoo 1++ rib-eye and Mayura Station wagyu. Dry-aged tomahawk and bone-in rib-eye are sold by the ounce. Each steak comes with a choice of mustards, salts and sauces, and the salad bar is a long-standing fixture.
It suits anniversaries and big celebrations rather than a quick steak. Sunday lunch adds a salad buffet and surf-and-turf, and there is one private room. Bookings open two months ahead on the first of each month; parties of seven or more should call.
