Meat Me Steakhouse and Butchery sits on the ground floor of Lippo Mall Kemang, part of the Kemang Village complex on Jalan Pangeran Antasari, with tables along the open-air walkway outside the mall. Kemang Village is home to many of South Jakarta's international families, and Meat Me is a relaxed, easy-going stop for foreign residents and visitors alike.

The butchery counter comes first: you choose your cut from the chilled display, where grade and origin are labelled, and the kitchen grills it to order. The Australian wagyu ribeye is the house favourite at around Rp210,000, a fraction of what a comparable steak costs in SCBD, while US and Australian sirloin and tenderloin cover the classic orders. House-made grilled sausages and baby back ribs are the alternatives, and the sausages can be bought raw to take home.

It suits a casual weeknight steak, a family lunch at the mall or anyone who wants good beef without a hotel-steakhouse bill. Open daily from 10am to 10pm, with parking in the Lippo Mall Kemang car park.
