Morton's has occupied the third storey of Mandarin Oriental Singapore for years, close to the Esplanade and Marina Bay. It follows the American chain's formula closely: white tablecloths, a separate bar that draws its own after-work crowd, and a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for 2026.
The menu centres on USDA Prime Midwest beef. A 16oz strip is S$128 and a 16oz ribeye S$136, with a 6oz filet from S$102 for smaller appetites. There is a 14oz dry-aged ribeye, a 6oz Japanese A5 wagyu strip and a tomahawk at S$298. Sides such as creamed spinach and potatoes are S$25–30 each, and the molten hot chocolate cake is the standard finish. Nueske's bacon appears on the starters, so the menu is not halal.
Morton's suits client dinners and celebrations rather than casual meals; budget around S$150 a head before wine. Dinner runs nightly, with lunch on weekends only. Proper attire is recommended and private rooms can be booked.
