Wolfgang's Steakhouse was founded in New York by Wolfgang Zwiener, a former head waiter at Peter Luger, and its Singapore branch opened in 2017 on the second floor of InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay. The dining room has solid walnut floors, and service runs all day without a break.
All beef is USDA Prime Black Angus dry-aged in-house for 28 days and cooked under a very hot broiler, New York style. The porterhouse for two (S$278) is the order. Alternatives include a New York sirloin at S$128, a petite filet mignon at S$110, a limited ribeye at S$168 and a tomahawk at S$278. Thick-cut sizzling bacon, crab cake and lobster bisque are the classic starters, with German potatoes, steak fries and lobster mac and cheese on the side.
Best for groups sharing a porterhouse or two. The all-day hours suit late lunches, and there are lunch sets, an afternoon tea and happy-hour menus.
