
Picanhas' opened on Club Street in December 2020 and is 100% Muslim-owned. It describes itself as a halal steakhouse built on affordable secondary cuts, especially the picanha, the fat-capped rump cap that is a staple of Brazilian grills. The tone is relaxed and family-friendly, and the venue cites more than 3,000 Google reviews.
The kitchen salt-brines and sous-vides the beef before grilling it and finishing it with binchotan-infused butter. Eatbook lists the signature Queen of Steak at S$34++ for 250g of picanha. The picanha don is the lighter lunch option, and sides such as garlic butter Brussels sprouts and truffle beans cost around S$8++.
