Wolfgang's Steakhouse opened its first Thai branch at One Bangkok in late 2024. The brand was founded in New York in 2004 by Wolfgang Zwiener, a former head waiter at Peter Luger, and the Bangkok room follows the house template: walnut floors, chandeliers, white tablecloths and views over Lumphini Park. Koktail named it opening of the year in its 2026 guide.
Only USDA Prime Black Angus is served, dry-aged on site for 28 days. The porterhouse for two, about a kilogram combining strip and fillet, is sliced and sizzled at the table and is the order to make. Phuket 101 reported prices of THB 5,500 for the porterhouse, THB 3,700 for the New York sirloin and THB 2,800 for the petit filet mignon. Starters include crab cake and thick-cut maple-glazed bacon, and the wine list runs to some 2,000 bottles.
It suits business dinners and celebrations, and the all-day hours make it one of the few top-end steakhouses open for lunch, with an express lunch menu. Private rooms are available.
