El Gaucho's Sukhumvit Soi 19 branch is the Bangkok flagship of a steakhouse group that runs more than a dozen restaurants across Thailand, plus outposts in Vietnam and Central Europe. It fills four floors next to Terminal 21, with exposed brick, industrial lighting and an outdoor terrace, and handles everything from solo diners to large private parties.
The menu is built around beef imported from selected farms in New South Wales and the United States, split into regular, wagyu and bone-in cuts. Diners on Chope most often recommend the wagyu filet mignon, and the porterhouse and Miyazaki wagyu are the bigger-ticket orders. Starters run to homemade chorizo and salchicha sausages, and the bittersweet caramel flan is the classic finish. A solid international wine list sits alongside.
It is a dependable, long-hours option for groups, with the kitchen open until midnight daily. Other Bangkok branches are in Thonglor, Langsuan and Sukhumvit Soi 11, with further outposts in Pattaya, Phuket and Koh Samui. Nearest stations are BTS Asok and MRT Sukhumvit.
