Churrasco opened in January 2012 in the Garden Zone of Jungceylon, the main shopping mall in Patong. Two Phuket residents who had lived in Latin America set it up as an à la carte South American steakhouse rather than an all-you-can-eat rodízio, and it still runs as an independent.
Beef is imported deep-chilled and wet-aged in-house, and steaks come in several weights. The house specialities are the Brazilian-style wagyu picanha, wagyu solomillo and wagyu maminha. Black Angus entrecôte, sirloin and rib eye run from 200g to 500g, and the tenderloin list includes grass-fed, grain-fed, wagyu and black truffle versions. Tartare, Spanish-style tapas, wagyu burgers and pasta fill out the menu, with sangria and an affordable wine list.
A reliable choice for a straightforward steak in Patong, including with children, at prices well below the hotel steakhouses. The venue says it serves no pork and that all its meat is halal-certified; it does serve alcohol. Open daily from noon to 11pm; book by phone, WhatsApp or the website.
