Sizzle sits on the roof of Avista Hideaway, an MGallery resort on the hillside above Patong Beach. The covered, open-sided terrace faces west over the forest and the Andaman Sea, so most tables book for sunset, and two semi-private Thai salas suit couples. The Michelin Guide Thailand lists it, praising a carefully charred steak.
Steaks are cooked over a brick charcoal grill under chef de cuisine Alvaro de la Puerta. The April 2026 menu lists Black Angus rib eye and striploin MB5 (350g), wagyu rib eye and tenderloin, and Hitachi A5 wagyu from Ibaraki as striploin or tenderloin. The 1.3kg Black Angus tomahawk serves two to three. Live lobsters are on display, and the seafood tower and lobster thermidor are the alternatives. Start with the Iberico croquetas and finish with sticky toffee pudding.
Best for a celebratory dinner or drinks with a view; DJs play some evenings. Open daily from 5pm to 11.30pm; reserve a sala or a front-row table ahead for sunset.
