Steak Go Where

Uluwatu, Nusa Dua & Sanur

Bali's south and east coasts hold a mix of resort steakhouses, mall and beachside grills and laid-back spots near the surf. Sanur and Nusa Dua lean polished, while Uluwatu and Bingin keep things casual, with open-fire cooking common throughout and Australian beef on most menus.

Steaksmith at the Renaissance Bali Nusa Dua Resort is dinner-only, in a room by Andra Matin. Blossom Steakhouse at Icon Bali Mall in Sanur has ocean views and private rooms, and LUCA is a two-storey Italian-leaning steakhouse in Sanur with an upstairs bar. Tusk Grill & Bar at the Bingin crossroads cooks over open fire, and Papi Sapi on Uluwatu's main road grills your chosen cut to order.

Book Blossom's private rooms ahead. Papi Sapi is casual, under US$25 per person for a main steak, while Steaksmith, Blossom and LUCA are upscale at US$50–100. Steaksmith and Blossom Steakhouse are not halal.
